Matthew Rose

The artist has lived in Paris since 1992, and writes for Art & Antiques , Neiman Marcus (the book), www.art-themagazine.com, The New York Times and other publications about art, film, fashion and culture. Additionally, the artist, as noted, has also written and published short stories, as well as an illustrated modern American quasi-surrealist novel, PLAN B , about a suicidal day trader named Von Spatzl and his search for meaning with The Austrian Girl. Matthew Rose graduated from Brown University, in 1981, with a degree in Semiotics. He also studied film at the Rhode Island School of Design.
